Is there a Doctor in the house?

Well this week was a doozie for co-pays! On Wednesday as I was loading Kennedy into the car to head to pre-school, I noticed a large sore on her lip - yes we are the lucky ones. Kennedy was hit with Hand, Foot and Mouth. She was very attached to me, so we stayed home all day and snuggled. Of course it is a virus, so there is nothing you can do, even the dr. said I could go back to work, because she had already infected everyone and was no longer contagious. Just what parents want to hear from another nursery teacher! Thursday she did well, but on Friday, I felt like a bladder infection was coming on, so off to the doctor I go. Since Chase is full day, I only had to cart two kids with me. After an hour and half, no signs of nothing, but thank you for spending $20 with us!! We laid low for the evening, then Saturday hit and Chase was complaining of a sore throat and an ear ache. He asked if he had what Kennedy had. At first I thought oh here we go - a lost child, due to a sick child. I asked if he wanted me to take him to the dr. and he said he would be okay. Well at 7:40 we were rushing to Urgent Care because they close at 8:00 and Chase could not even eat his dinner, his throat hurt so bad. So another $25 later and we have a double ear infection and an infected throat. It is now 9:00 and I am treating the family to Fritz Frozen Custard and Kyle says he won't be able to eat, becuase he thinks he has to throw up! I knew I should of went to med school!!!

Oh my word that stinks! I found out today about Kennedy at lunch when Alissa had her ahha moment and thought that might be what was wrong with Isaac. Oh Alissa just called pretty sure Isaac does have it. Hopefully he already had broken out yesterday and was no longer contagious while playing with my kids at the farm. We shall see.
Hope you and the kids are recovering. On a three day weekend and everything-yuck!
